One of the Treasure Coast's most beloved waterfront institutions is about to get bigger. Conchy Joe's — the tin-roofed, old-Florida seafood spot that's been a Jensen Beach fixture for decades — is expanding onto the property next door.
The move: Conchy Joe's owners are taking over the adjacent 2.3-acre parcel that was home to the former Admiral's Table, and combining it with their existing site to create a single, larger restaurant campus. Instead of two aging waterfront properties, Jensen Beach gets one bigger destination on the Indian River Lagoon.
It's a small story with an outsized emotional footprint. Conchy Joe's isn't just a restaurant on the Treasure Coast — it's a landmark, the kind of place locals bring out-of-town visitors to prove the 772 still has its laid-back, waterfront soul intact. Expanding onto the old Admiral's Table keeps a prime stretch of Jensen Beach waterfront in the hands of a homegrown operator rather than a developer.
For the 772, that's the win here: a beloved local spot growing on its own terms, on a piece of shoreline that could easily have become condos. We'll update as the plans for the combined campus firm up.
