Buc-ee's is officially coming to the 772 — here's everything we know
A 73,000 sq ft Buc-ee's with 120 fuel pumps is headed to I-95 and Indrio Road. Billboards are up, but don't hold your breath until 2027.

It's happening. Buc-ee's — the Texas-born mega gas station with a cult following — is officially coming to St. Lucie County. Billboards along I-95 near Indrio Road now read "LOADING ST. LUCIE" and the hype is real.
Here's what we know: the 73,000-square-foot travel center will sit on 33 acres at the southeast corner of I-95 and Indrio Road, technically in unincorporated St. Lucie County near Fort Pierce. But let's be honest — everyone in the 772 is going to call it the PSL Buc-ee's.
The numbers are absurd. 120 fuel pumps. 733 parking spaces. 20 EV chargers. 11 bus bays. For context, your average gas station has maybe 12 pumps. This is a different animal.
If you've never been to a Buc-ee's, imagine a gas station crossed with a full-size convenience store, a BBQ restaurant, a fudge shop, and a gift store that sells everything from beaver nuggets to home decor. People literally plan road trips around Buc-ee's stops.
The bad news: don't expect to fill up here anytime soon. The original timeline had a 2026 opening, but it's been pushed back to 2027. No construction has started on-site yet — just the billboards doing their job of building anticipation. Buc-ee's is also planning an Ocala location for 2028.
When it opens, it'll be a major traffic draw for the Indrio Road corridor and could spark additional commercial development in the area. For the 772, it's another sign that the Treasure Coast is on the national radar — and growing fast.
