Aldi just opened two stores near Sebastian — its first in the city
The German grocery chain opened locations in Micco and Sebastian in April 2026, both in former Winn-Dixie buildings, marking Aldi's first store in Sebastian.
Bargain grocery fans, rejoice. Aldi opened two new stores in the Sebastian area in April 2026, both moving into former Winn-Dixie buildings.
The Micco store at 7960 U.S. 1 opened April 8, and the Sebastian store at 995 Sebastian Boulevard followed on April 23. The Sebastian location is the first Aldi in that city, and the second in Indian River County after a Vero Beach store opened in March 2026.
Aldi did its usual grand-opening thing: the first 200 customers at each store got goodie bags and 'Golden Tickets' worth up to $100.
Aldi's been expanding aggressively across Florida, and the Treasure Coast is squarely in its sights. For shoppers up in the Sebastian/Micco corner of the 772, it's a welcome low-cost option in spaces that had been sitting empty since Winn-Dixie pulled back.
