About Roseland

Roseland is a historic, mostly residential community in northern Indian River County just north of Sebastian, bordered by the St. Sebastian River and near the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. Settled in the 1870s and named for the wild roses that grew there, it is a designated Florida Heritage Site with structures dating to the early 1900s and a peaceful, low-density character. Homes range from older cottages to riverfront properties and acreage, with no HOA across most of the area.
